Offshore Material Controller

The ideal candidate for this sensitive position where equipments and procurement isthe subject matter, he will be part of the Platform team and specialist in his ownarea, and will be a vital role in the management of all materials procured,servicedor repaired, stock or non-stock. The candidate will also be responsible for themanagement of materials to support platform maintenance and production or the wellintervention activities in order to ensure improvement opportunities are identified,supported, realised and in a cost effective manner. The Material Controller willcontribute to a culture of continuous HSSE performance improvements, he will ensurethat Material Control activities on the Platform fully comply with company Practicesand legislations, manage offshore stores including receipt, control and issue ofspares, consumables and equipment, support the logistics team when necessary for the movement of materialsrequired to and from the installation including delivery of materials to work siteand coordinate the supply and repair of materials required to support planned andunplanned maintenance work. The sensitive player also act as focal point for stocksuppliers and manage the procurement,shelf-life, storage and maintenance of allplatform owned sub store and main store equipment, keeping the critical sparesholding current and you will Support onshore buyer to expedite all material purchaseorders ensuring prompt delivery by air of sea, updating to reflect realisticdelivery dates against work orders.Skills required for Offshore Material ControllerHe must have proven capability in material control functions in an offshore oil &gas environment, ideal skills in operation of gas, oil & utilities aspect ofproduction facilities.
