Internet Marketing Specialist PART TIME

Part Time

The Internet Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the planning, updating, managing and measuring the websites and social marketing efforts. In addition, the position will oversee optimizing web page code and content to engage potential clients, and marketing the website through SEO/SEM, social media, public relations and online advertising. The position requires a combination of editorial, writing and technology skills.

Responsibilities

Create, implement and maintain a year-round marketing, promotion and advertising strategy related to the primary websites (spiritofwomen.com; heartcaring.com) and peripheral sites with a focus on sales.

Write and edit website and social media content including short articles and copy

Update, revise, and expand existing written materials continuously to ensure website effectiveness
Serve as content editor and distributor for internal communications (client e-newsletter/blog)
In concert with creative team, produce multimedia content for the website
Develop and implement SEO plans for high priority sites
Create reports that demonstrate measurable results using Google Analytics and ClickTracks

RequirementsSkills

The Internet Marketing Specialist must possess a thorough understanding of the Internet and web tools including online marketing, search engine marketing, social networking sites, discussion boards, blogs,

Specific skills include:

Excellent written verbal communication skills
Ability to write on a variety of topics in different styles
Excellent project management skills
Proficiency in WordPress or similar web publishing platform.
Comfortable using web-based content management systems to update, create, and maintain pages
Multimedia experience including video, audio slideshows, basic Flash, podcasting
Understanding of online marketing tactics and tools
Ability to conduct online advertising campaigns
Familiarity with HTML and a variety of page design programs like Dreamweaver and Cyberstudio
Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), HTML code, keyword research and Web content creation.
