Database Administrator PART TIME

Part Time

Perform database tasks (installation, setup/configuration. User/object creation, testing) for new upgraded system
Defines and perform database backups and recovery procedures
Coordinates regularly with members of other support teams for database related issues and concern
Addresses database non-compliance and escalates issues as needed to the project team (vendors, developers, etc.) and cluster head
Performs database analysis and optimization (SQL tuning, adjusting databsea, parameters, schema design)
Proactively monitors database for optimum performance and provides support for testing environment during UAT and development phases
Works closely with system administration to configure software and hardware so that it function optimally with the RDBMS
Performs database migration and cutover to production
Provides onsite support suring activities
Execute project related to service requests within agreed SLA
Addresses and resolves assigned incident within SLA/ agreeds turn- around time
Addresses known issues within his/her domain and escalates unresolved issues to the TSIM-TIS cluster head (such aproblems may involved other division or group are high-risk or are sensitive issues
Collaborates with external entities on trouble tickets files cases

Requirements:

Training in PM, ITSM, buss. Admin & Quality
Exposure to Sybase RDBMS (Adaptive Server Enterprises 12.5x)
Sybase experienced
Candidate must be Bachelor’s/ college Degree any field
Preferably 1-4 experinced employees specializing in IT/Computer Network / System/ Database Admin or equivalent
Full time and contract position available
